Three special features of Faithful One

The lettering here is a double layer of green (thin sequin over a green under layer).  The main letters are embellished with sequins, bits of a necklace and some “jewels” set in a gold braid.

The water the man is being rescued from is a navy sheer fabric that has a silver line flowing through it.  We turned it so the line was horizontal and then created depth by gathering it in places.  Then short pieces of sequin braid were glued into place on top of the water to catch the light with various colours.  The sequins on the background are 2 different types… straight black in colour and an iridescent black that catches the light with different hues.

The tassels were plain black with the gold fob.  We added the purple beading and the black sequin braid.  The other hangings are plain black cording, purple beads, some green and gold cording and strands of sequins.  The beads and sequins were weighted with hanging gems from old jewelry.
