Three special features of King of Kings
This banner cost over $800 in materials alone. The fabric used in the crown is actually the wrong side (the “right” side was mostly black and red)! So when looking for fabric check both sides and the Lord might inspire you to do something different. The crossbar runs just above the red braiding. The points of the crown are being held vertical by thin dowels that have been inserted into the wooden crossbar. The gold fabric is also heavily interfaced.

The background fabric is a sheer covered with sequins over a plain white under layer. The letters are outlined with sequins to increase visibility as well to emphasize the royal qualities of the banner.

In order to have the 6 small crowns be as different as possible, I drew the different outlines and then held a crown building/decorating party where my friends built crowns with the materials I provided. Old jewelry as well as fake gems work well here.
