Three special features of Lord of Hosts
The feel of this banner needed very solid looking letters so I made them with this particular font. There are 2 layers of red and then a padding layer before the purple – this increases the “strength” of the letters.

The detail added to the hilt of the sword is not so much for the congregation as for the unseen world. It is only visible on closer examination and it functions as a statement of what the sword of the Lord will do. A cord is placed underneath the seam to increase the 3D effect and the grain of the fabric also changes at that point for the same reason.

The strands of sequins were glued into position and then a small stitch placed where they were left to hang. This prevents an accidental ungluing of the strand. The end of the strand was well sealed with glue. |
