At Bethel Assembly we have a new perspective on emotional health because of Dr. Mullen’s Transformation Series.
In very clear, truthful and easy to understand presentations, mixed with humour, Dr. Mullen integrates medical knowledge with biblical truth to address emotional health. The series offers self diagnosis and a path to recovery and transformation.
We just completed this Transformation series at our Church in a small group setting. It was a rewarding experience with positive results as many participants were ministered to.
As a senior pastor for over 30 years I highly recommend Dr. Mullen’s approach to emotional freedom; body, soul, and spirit. His background as a Medical doctor and his experience in spiritual warfare offer a well balanced teaching on emotional health. Churches are filled with Christians whose Spirits are made alive onto God, but their soul; mind, will and emotions lie in a great heap of rubble. Ungodly ways, patterns and emotional pain now form the rubble around them. Past hurtful events stored in the space between their ears and the emotional painful memories hinders them from fulfilling their God given destiny. The rubble needs to be cleared before one can rebuild God's way. Call it discipleship, emotional spiritual health, spiritual transformation or sanctification, but without it Christ will not be able to live His life through these believers. They are fearful, struggle with shame, lies, guilt, low self-esteem and and self-worth. Christ wants His followers to live out of their hearts where He has come to reside. This is where life giving ministries like Dr. Grant and Kathy Mullen's has been given by God to pastors and their churches to more adequately shepherd His sheep. Is it messy? Yes!, Is it dangerous? No! Is it necessary? Yes!
As a pastor I have found that it is more dangerous to leave His people unhealed emotionally since it
requires more work, energy and can be very draining on pastoral care. I highly recommend
Dr. Mullen to your leadership and people. You will find their ministry helpful and complementary to what God has called you and your people to be and do.
