Where Ever I am God Is

Sitting in the reception room at my place of employment, I saw a picture that I have often looked at, but this time I saw it in a very different way. The caption under the picture read "Where Ever I am God Is". As I looked at it the following thoughts came to me.

We as humans often believe we have to "find God" like He were lost. We think that we are only close to God when we're at church, worshipping, or reading our Bible, which help us to focus our heart and mind on God. But I think all too often we forget this key principle - "Where Ever I am God Is".

So where are you today?
Where are you physically?
Where are you in your career, where are you in your marriage, where are you in life?
Where ever you are God is.
Dwell on that for a moment.
As you chase after your toddler; God is.
As you are in school learning; God is.
As you are at work; God is.
As you are living life; God is.
He is there all the time everywhere we go.
He is there on the "good days" and He is there on the "not so good days". He is there.
So the next time you feel alone or overwhelmed remember where ever you are God is.
Turn to Him; He is waiting for you.
Where ever I am God is; where ever you are God is!
